The Atlantic Council of Croatia and Hanns Seidel Foundation organized the international conference titled: „Perspectives of Europeanization of the Western Balkans – On the Eve of the Fifth Anniversary of Membership of the Republic of Croatia in NATO and First Anniversary of Membership in EU“. The conference was held on December 17, 2013 at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, Croatia.
Members of academic community, state officials, recognized experts, foreign diplomats, ambassadors, and students have contributed to the conference with their presence, and their participation in constructive and fruitful debate and discussions. Participants had the opportunity to hear very interesting and informative lectures given by: dr. sc. Mladen Nakić, prof. dr. sc. Lidija Čehulić Vukadinović, prof dr. Marina Mitrevska, doc. dr. sc. Miloš Šolaja, and mr. sc. Nikoleta Tomović.
After the conference, the Annual Assembly of the Atlantic Council of Croatia was held. Within the Annual Assembly reports were submitted by: the president of the Atlantic Council of Croatia, prof. dr. sc. Radovan Vukadinović; the president of the Youth Committee of the Atlantic Council Croatia, Rea Poljak MA; and the president of the Supervisory Board of the Atlantic Council of Croatia, prof. dr. sc. Radule Knežević.
